My heart is a thousand years old. I am not like other people.

Alone I sit and alone I’ve been.
Alone I feel while the storm rolls in.
Alone I am and alone I’ll stay.
Alone I’ll be ‘til you come back some day.

I don’t give a shit about grand gestures or flowers at my door, I just want your teeth across my neck and my lips pressed to the small of your back, I want your stupid fucking sense of humour making me laugh at 4am when I have to be up at 6.

Frenzy of Exultations by Władysław Podkowiński, 1893 (via)

oh it’s one of my favourite works of symbolism in Polish art. It was shown at the Zachęta exibition in 1894 and destroyed with a knife by the author himself. Only the woman that is shown in the painting was cut and some believe that’s because she was the object of Podkowiński’s unrequited feelings.

Every mouth you’ve ever kissed
was just practice
all the bodies you’ve ever undressed
and ploughed in to
were preparing you for me.
i don’t mind tasting them in the
memory of your mouth
they were a long hall way
a door half open
a single suit case still on the conveyor belt
was it a long journey?
did it take you long to find me?
you’re here now,
welcome home.
